(Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in information and communication engineering from Chungbuk National University, in 2009, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in information and communications from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), in 2010 and 2015, respectively. He was a Senior Researcher with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), South Korea, from 2015 to 2017. He was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Incheon National University, Korea, from 2017 to 2020. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering, Inha University, South Korea. His research interests include multiobject tracking, object detection, deep learning, dimensionality reduction, medical image analysis, and generative adversarial networks.
